Stevia and Lyme disease.

Lyme disease affects more than 300,00 people a year in the US according to the CDC. In a study conducted by University of New Haven, researchers compared stevia leaf extract to doxycycline, cefoperazone and daptomycin which are drugs currently used to fight lyme disease. They found that it was not only comparable but in some ways stevia outperformed those drugs. Also stevia seemed to have no adverse effects. The team was lead by Dr Sapi PhD from UNH. So check it out. Just giving you some food for thought.
